A. Balfe, rider of Three Leaf Clover, trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly throughout.
196C Join Racing TV Now With A Free Hcap HdleCaragh Monaghan, rider of Sea Of Doubt, trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount got tight for room approaching the third last. Having viewed the recording and reviewed the incident the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
Sam Ewing, rider of Bryson, trained by W.R. Crawford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left after the last.
196D Plus 2 Print Tony Oakes MBE M'dn H'dleC. Stone-Walsh, rider of Hello Wee Love, trained by R. K. Watson, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very green.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined San Hilario (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have mild heat stress post race.
196F Tote Guar'tee Never Beaten By SP Hcp HdlThe Raceday Stewards fined A.L.T.Moore, trainer €65 for failing to fit sheepskin cheek pieces to Ringdufferin prior to entering the parade ring.
Sam Ewing, rider of Oh Janey, trained by S.R.B. Crawford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled coming down the hill.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Josh Williamson, rider of Tolka Row, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account (second offence) they suspended him for four race days.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from David M.O'Brien, trainer, following the winning performance of Tolka Row in this race, which appeared to represent an improvement on its previous run. The trainer reported that today's better ground may have brought about the improvement. Having liaised with the IHRB Handicapper, the Raceday Stewards considered the report and noted the explanation offered.
196G Downpatrick Family Funday INH Flat RaceMr J.L. Gleeson, rider of Its Time For A Run, trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung off the home bend.
Mr A.P. Ryan, rider of Tis Well For Some, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
